Good Morning,
I had a message on my answering machine yesterday stating you had upgraded my service and it worked excellent yesterday afternoon and last night. This morning it is back to being as slow as ever on my Computer. If you cain't fix my Internet Service to be consistant I am getting off of Uvere and go back to Direct TV and the Bellsouth Internet Service. You are sure doing a lot of big talk about Uverse and I don't see anything about the Phone service and the Internet that is so good about it. When I dial a number on my Number it takes a long time for it to ring. You would think a Company like AT&T would be the best without question.

Sounds like a DNS issue Jim. Do some research and consider statically setting something other than what AT&T assigns you.

I have had U-verse(6 mbps)for about two months. I had BS ADSL for about 6 years before that.

U-verse tests 6, BS tested 1.5-2.5. However, there is NO doubt that pages at all sites I used before take 2 to 4 times LONGER to load.

The test is great, the everyday use sucks.

I can't say the same. I had pretty consistent speed with what I was paying for with their Pro and Elite speeds (3M, 6M) but I recently upgraded to their Max 18Mbps and I'm lucky to crack 12Mbps on most speed tests. I'd say I'm really only averaging 8-10Mbps.
