Upon complaint to AT&T I have been told that it is due to software upgrades being made between 11:00 and 5:00am.

Thanks for the information, I suspected that was the chase.

I hope the don't update as often as they have in the past. It doesn't seem to be as bad lately.

Does anyone else have their uverse video, just keep quitting and pausing all the time. It doe not matter the day or the time, it just keeps going out, and pausing for seconds up to minutes long.

With the uverse doing this, we can not even watch any television at all.  It freezes constantly, and now hasn't worked in over 30 min. This is by far the worst experience we have ever had with any television provider.

Thank you for your offer preston, but after a week of badgering my roommate he finally called into AT&T. The problems were that they had some of their settings wrong. We also had some old coax connections coming out of the wall that needed to be replaced.

Yes   i have the same thing. I have called uverse and They can't seem to be able to fix it. They even had at&t come out and try. I believe that they can't fix it. I may have to go back to comcast.

Yes my video freezes constantly on every receiver except the DVR.  I'm about to move into an apartment and have to get new cable and I'm definitely not going with UVerse.  It's ridiculous that they haven't fixed this considering Uverse has been out for well over a year and a half now.  Thanks for nothing AT&T.

Yes, we continue to have frequent momentary video/audio freezes no matter what channel. These are like brief skips in the programming, very noticable when music is playing. I am usually watching HD channels now, and it is quite annoying. Can anyone post if there is a solution to this?  When Uverse was installed we had the techs out to check all cables, connections and receivers.  I would like to know if this problem is widespread, and if AT&T is working on it.

Thanks.

I have been having the same issues with live TV or recorded TV. The screen just freezes and stays that way for up to two minutes (sometimes MORE) at a time and it happens multiple times a day. It also happens with my AT&T internet. I have been told by others in my city that they had the same problems and AT&T had to come and dig up their line to the house and fix it (replace it?) and the problem was solved. I dont see AT&T coming to do that for me so I might have to switch.
