I have a samsung model HLN507WX and it is being fed by a Motorola 1225 dvr from at&t. The only input that works on the the video input panel on the back is the #1 component 480i/480p. If i try the other component inputs 2 or 3, witch are rated for 720p or 1080i , the tv says ” mode not supported “. Is this stb only outputing 480i on power up. How do i get the tv to work at the 720p mode.

Should support 1080i , what type of cables are you using? RBG or HDMI?
