If it continues you might call AT&T and have them check all your wires and see if anything is going on at the hub or Central Office.

I have had similar issues with Uverse here is Calif, including frequent brief stalling of signal, and occasional need to reset receivers. I have had the tech out to check all cables and connections and receivers. Tech spent almost four hours here one day checking everything. I am thinking about calling the tech again to recheck our system here. We have the DVR plus two other receivers.  Perhaps it has something to do with AT&T's servers or the existing cables AT&T uses to reach each house. I wonder if this is a common problem?

To all,

I, too, am located in Cobb County (East Cobb) and seem to be exhibiting the same problems.  I have had my service for about a year, and it just seems to be getting worse.  The problems that I am exhibiting are mostly concerning the DVR.

- DVR will stop in the middle of playing and state that the recording is no longer available.  This is with one of the satetilite receivers.  I have to reboot this receiver to get working again.

- The main DVR sometimes shuts down on its own.  Due to this, I miss my recordings.

- The main DVR will freeze in the middle of a playback of a recording.  The DVR receiver has to be rebooted.

- The HD feeds both live and taped have much worse quality than previously.

I had a service tech out approximately 6 weeks ago and he recrimped one of my wires and replaced the DVR.

Any ideas?

Anyone else having similar issues.

Sounds like it's over heating. Is your box in a cabinet that might create extra heat.
