I'm a new customer to Uverse in South Florida, i've had service since early September.

I had one outage somwhere around the 13th which took out both video and broadband, i called tech support who sent a tech out but before the he came my service came back on it's own.

Service was fine until Saturday, October 11th, i was watching tv in the morning and my video started freezing, i checked the gateway which was flashing a red light. I proceeded to call tech support who set up an appontment for a tech to come out the next day.

On Saturday night at around 10:30 pm i heard my email refresh and i checked the system to find my service was back. I called tech support to let them know and they said to keep the appointment and have the tech look everything over. The tech came on Sunday morning and ran speed tests but could not find anything strange as my system was up and running since the night before, he left to check the panel and later called to say something was amiss in the panel and he'd have to send another tech to sort it out. Fifteen minutes after he left my service went down.

The line tech came out on Tuesday and said there were some errors in the panel but none that should stop me from having service, he also said they might have to dig up the cabling to find the problem.

What is strange is that between 11:00pm and around 9:00am it seems i have service, it's almost as if someone else is using my service and i get it back when they are asleep.

It has been 6 days now and Tier 2 support still can't tell me when i'll get service, i have another line tech appointment between 8 and 10 tomorrow morning to resolve this issue but my patience is wearing thin. Coming from a service before that gave me no problems this is a little trying but i'm willing to give the benifit of the doubt to new technology and hoping this will be resolved soon.

That sounds like a very odd issue and I hope you get it worked out. Please post back and let us know what the end result is incase anyone else runs into the same problem. I wonder if you have a bad NID or some wiring that is bad.
