Since we started with uverse in April, we have had this probelm. The install guy came back 1x and it seemed to be better for a day or so. We placed another call to him this evening. No one else I've talked with that has uverse has this problem. It is on all 3 sets (and they are not hi-def t.v.s but work great otherwise. This is getting very frustrating. Right now, all 3 pictures are tiling/pixelating and the sound is jumpy. Could it be the wiring in our house? It's not all that old. My husband is ready to switch back to cable.
