We have a U-verse VIP-1225 receiver and a Logitech 670 Remote. We have lots of problems getting the remote to work with the box. It works sort of. But sometimes it takes the command you push on the remote too many times and sometimes it doesn't receive it at all. I've tried changing interkey delay. I've tried stupid ideas like people saying to put saran wrap or blue tape over the front of the receiver to make sure the receiver receives the signal. (Beats me why it should work.) Has anyone found anything that works perfect for the remote?

I'm hoping one of the field techs chimes in on this issue because I'm not sure why the logitech wouldn't work on the STB. This may seem fundemental but I'll ask anyway, have you tried fresh batteries in the remote?

Hopefully this post doesn't duplicate… I replied but I was just a guest and it isn't showing up. But we've had the U-verse a while now and we've replaced the batteries a few times now. Hasn't helped.

When you post as guest it has to be approved by an admin or moderator before it will show on the board. This helps keep the spam out. I delete it, so no worries.
I'm not sure on the remote, I wonder if their is compatibility issues. Maybe try programming it to a non-DVR box and see if the issue might be with the DVR.

I have the harmony 650 and it works fine for Uverse but some of my older components I had to use the old remote and the learn function. All Uverse functions seem to have been replicated on the harmony 650 remote control.
