My DVR receiver has recently stopped working with the remote control.  Using both the AT&t remote and a universal remote give the same result.  Often times, the power light on the receiver does not even flash when using the remote.  If it does register the button press, it gives random results.  For example, pressing the 5 button repeatedly trying to get to a particular channel may result in a display of 2 or 6 or even On Demand.  Sometimes it will work.  Mostly in the evenings it is not working at all or as described.  By late night it suddenly will work again.  I don't understand what is going on.  I can still change the channel using the buttons on the box itself to use the guide.  However, this doesn't help with playback of recorded shows.  I can watch them, but I can't forward through commercials, becausee using the forward button will often result in the channel changing. Anyone have any advice?
