ALL-First post for me!

I want to relocated my UVerse WAP from one end of my home to another. I assumed that if I disconnect power and coax connection, and then hook up to another active coax location (where there is currently a Uverse TV box) the WAP would "connect"…but that does not appear to be the case. Is there something special about the coaxial connection where the WAP is currently (and originally) connected?
