I have the AT&T uverse router that has several PCs connected.  Two of which are wireless and one is to the U-Verse router ethernet connection.  I would like to have the wireless PCs accesss to my ethernet connected printer and backup storage drive.  In addition, I want to know how to open up shared files between each of the PCs.

Can you someone give me instructions or links to instructions.

You need to share your printer on your network. The set up process is probably different depending on what operating system your running. But you should be able to easily share the printer and map it to the computers.

Here is a link I found on windows XP, click here. If that doesn't work trying googling "printer sharing" and there are ton of sites out there.
