I am trying to connect my Handheld PC, Hitachi HPW-600ET, to the 2WIRE 3800HGV-B router. My HPC is running Windows CE 2.11 and is equipped with an Orinoco Gold wireless card. My HPC sees the router but I cannot connect because it has no application to establish a dialog with the router to enter the password that the router is looking for.

Can I configure the router to connect to a particular MAC address or assign a fixed IP address over a wireless connection? Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Yea to my knowledge there is no way to do it in reverse, connect the router to a device wireless. The device must connect to the router and authenticate the wep key. Maybe try updating your drivers on your handheld then try wireless again.
