I recently took the time to upgrade the forum to a new
version that should fix some of the quarks with the forum. This will make the
design and function more usable and friendly.
Please feel free to give some feedback on the forum, especially
if you notice anything fatal with the core functions of the forum.
Thanks to all of the members that have supported and
contributed to making this forum successful. It’s greatly appreciated by the
Uverse Universe Community.
I remember when I first started this site and I was lucky if
I got five visitors a day, now I’m peaking anywhere from 100 to 200 visitors a
day. (no jinks) I have a feeling the forum will continue its uphill trend!
Note: I have tossed around some
ideas for the rest of the site as well and they still might be several months
out but look for stuff coming down the pipe soon!
First Issue: It appears Spellcheck was not resolved in this release, I will be addressing this soon.

Do away with the math required things, yea there easy but very annoying having to do it everytime, also it might promote more posts.

Does it ask you the math question as a member? The only problem with getting rid of it is because forum robot spam is an issue and the forum can get clutter with unwanted ads and links to undesired web pages from automated computers.

Enable the email response feature. I would like to receive an email everytime someone adds to a topic that I have a thread on. I was looking around for it in the usual places but its not there.

so far, i like the update. it seems a little faster.
i like the new "member list" section. any chance there are options for us to be able to sort on the other columns (like '# of posts' or 'last visit')?

I think the code is clearner on this release of simple press forum and I have also done some upgrades to wordpress. I can suggest it to the guys that develop this forum, they usually are pretty good about trying to work in new features for releases.
