The ability to have a PIP window upp all the time is sorely missing from UVerse. The 15 sec. preview is nice, but with 4 streams, we SHOULD be able to watch something full-time in the PIP window. Do it ATT! :-) All Users: If this capability is there and I'm not seeing it please let me know.
Also, a nice addition would be banner duration control.
Thanks,
Jim

First time posting, but I just wanted to put this up here. The ATT Uverse platform is based on Microsoft Mediaroom (formely Microsoft TV IPTV Edition). If you go to Microsoft's site (http://www.microsoft.com/mediaroom/Features.aspx) and check out some of the features, you will see ATT has included most of them. However one cool feature they did not include is multiview. The SW is cabable, but ATT didn't add the functionality in there version for some reason. With multiview you can see up to six different screens at one time on your television. Set your favorites, or simply view multiple programs to quickly decide which show you want to watch…or watch them all at the same time. Customize your viewing experience by watching different channels, multiple sporting events, a range of news reports, or even different camera angles. It’s the ultimate picture-in-picture experience.
So ATT when can we have this?

I would assume it's because of bandwidth but that sounds like a nice feature. Especially for sports!

This has to be the #1 feature missing from u-verse. I like u-verse and all, but if I had known that it didn't have full-time PIP, I wouldn't have switched.

I also would not have switched if I had known there was no full-time PIP. I had just assumed that this “basic” functionality would be included. I'm very disappointed…to the point where I am seriously considering switching back to Comcast.
I used PIP all the time…especially when the kids wanted to watch a TV show and I wanted to watch a game.
Please, please, ATT…include PIP soon.

I agree. This is so basic, I had it 7 years ago using a vcr as a second receiver. ATT NEEDS to get on board or I'll switch back to roadrunner. Lame.

Multiview is now part of ATT Uverse. I dont know how many markets it is included in but I do know that it is working in the city where I am. Look for it in the interactive section of the main menu. One difference from the original microsoft version is that you can look at 3 screens at a time instead of the original 6 in the microsoft version.
