Some ideas on when your tv freezes,

The system is really simple once you understand how it works. There are two main causes why your tv should freeze or pixelate.

1: The rg is pulling line errors in the form bad line condition, downstream fec, crc,ses and the same for upstream.

Kinda a guide to go by if you are 0-1500 ft on the loop length coax cat3 and cat5, 1500 to 3400 ft Cat5 only. Make sure

the cable are not with any electric lines in the attic. They can run across just not side by side. At the nid make sure the

lighting arrestor is in good condition and NEWER styles.

2: If the problems is in the house with hpna if you install was done on coax. Make sure the tech changes all the fittings   to Att approved connectors and changes all the coax barrels. Dont let them use the barrels that are clear on the inside

they will not work!! Also the coax that you buy from walmart the rg58/59 that has the clear dielectric core don't use it either. Good quality rg 59 will work fine. Make sure all fittings are tight, ie cannot loosen it by hand.

Remember to ask question, don't be afraid to it might same you some grief in the long run.

I'll add to this as i think of other stuff!
