I would like to see an option to blank the video signal when "press OK to watch U-Verse TV" screen comes on so my TV will turn off automaticly. I will fall asleep watching a recording and wake to find the TV has been on all night.  This would save electricity.

Also CEC over HDMI would be a nice option.

Most TVs have a sleep setting in the actual tv menu. You might check to see if you have that because you could just set a timer to turn off automatically.
