It would be useful to be able to search the program guide by genre. Some examples would be:
Movies-All
Movies-Action
Movies-Drama
Movies-Martial Arts
Movies-Science Fiction
Movies-Historical
Movies-Chick Flix
etc., etc.

It would be useful to be able to save a history of common searches so you don't have to re-enter the search each time, especially when using the remote and set top box for entry.
If you could set up the search history on the internet and then access it from the set top box, that would be great!

Those are great idea's!
Being able to find what you want to watch easily by searching is always a plus. I'm thinking that eventually U-verse will launch a new program guide once there service gets off the ground. Hopefully they will improve the search features, I know that employee's read this site. Let's hope they get they listen!
Keep up with the great idea's!

Employee's have posted here, I'm not sure how often they read but I'm sure it's more than what they post because they have to be careful not to give any information that would jeopardize their employeement.
Where do you get that option? I don't see that on my TV?

THat would be a neat feature and good suggestion. I use online but doing it through the TV would be nice as well.

I agree that there needs to be a more interactive method of finding currently playiing (on right now) movies through the U-Verse menu. There are quite a bit of good features already, but the ones that get used the most are really the ones that matter. My previous cable provider had that feature, and it makes tv watching more enjoyable.

Hey they are always updating stuff and adding. Its usually about every 3 mts or so they add more features and stuff. Were dealing with microsoft here and they software, they gotta take there time and work the bugs out before it can be relased to the public.

As for new features, great interface; the last sw update cleaned up a lot of things on the menus but there are still a few gotchas. I particulary like the one button quick menu flyout on the left but there needs to be a few more options.
In particular, A one or two click ability to turn closed captioning on. Right now it take 20 or 21 selections(clicks) to enable closed captioning. OUCH!!
The flyout should have an additional menu selection of<ClosedCaption> with selections of "On", "Off", and "Show on Mute".
If you know how to get this to the designers please pass it along
Thanks

It would be GREAT to have a choice of choosing auto-tune for a show in the future instead of just record…
Like Dish has….
