I tried to get Uverse installed Dec. 11 in St. Louis – there was some kind of setup outage – supposedly no one in the nation could "attach" to Uverse from Dec 11 to Dec 13. 

Called repair tech for yesterday, Dec 30 as having problems with DVR – he told me that there was nationwide outage of voice & internet in late afternoon, then TV went out too.  Tough paying close to $100/mo and having to use rabbit ears to get any channels. 

I was told that Dish and DirecTV didn't work well in St. Louis – something to do with cloud layers, lots of storms, etc.  Everyone said Uverse is the only way to go.  So far, I'm not impressed.
