Missed most of the Heroes premiere that I had been looking forward to for a long time. Service went out, and I'm not sure when it came back, but it was definitely after midnight. I had Comcast for almost 15 years, with only one or two short outages, and just switched to U-verse a couple of weeks ago.

What annoyed me is that when I called 1-800-ATT-2020, I got a robot who didn't understand me and finally said the office was closed. So, I don't know what caused it, how long it lasted, or how many were affected by it.

I also get my broadband service through U-Verse, so if it happens again, I'll either switch back to Comcast or try DirectTV.
