Hi,

I'm trying to help a friend log into his 2Wire 3800 HGV0B router to change the wireless security rom WPA-TSK to WEP so his wireless adapter can connect. If I connect a laptop to the router, what's the link to log in?

Is it http://gateway.2wire.net ?

I should be your default gateway. Go to your command prompt and type in ipconfig then hit enter. Your default gateway is the IP address you use to access the router.

In my case as well as most the default is: 192.168.1.254

or you could just look on the side of the RG and the ip for the web interface is right there.(i beleive its just below the mac addy
