I cannot get my DVD to play. I followed the instruction for adding it to the remote in the quick fix guide but could never get it to operate. What wiring is needed to connect the DVD player to the TV? All I have connected is the RCA cable( red,white,yellow)

That's all you need just switch the input on your TV remote to the input you connected on your tv.

if it is one of older style tv's with just a coax input then you need to get an rf switch and put it inline with the feed from the box to the tv and then connect your dvd to the switch's rca cable input.
