I am a current U-Verse susbscriber (since Novemeber 2007). On December 3rd I signed up for the referral rewards program to take advantage of the $50 referral reward for referring my father to the service. I placed a call in Janaury, February, and now March to find out what the status of my referral reward and all I keep getting is the run-around (call back in 2 weeks or wait 6 to 8 more weeks). Here I am 3 month's later and still no referral reward.
Has anyone else on this forum used the referral rewards program and if so have you received your reward?
To be honest I could really care less about the $50 but now it's come down to principal. This situation has now put a bad taste in my mouth for AT&T. I can't believe the run-around and hoops that a customer has to jump through for referring them new business.
My advice to anyone thinking about joining the referral rewards program is DON'T DO IT. It's not worth your time or energy.
