Voice Choppy on Recordings

On some channels, the DVR recording is choppy voice.  The HD and normal video is clean, but the voice will cut out for 1/2 to 1 second every 15-30 seconds.  Can't see that it's happening on normal video channels, just evident during watching recordings

Try rebooting the box by unplugging it and plugging it back in. Also if you have it in a tight enclosed space when the DVR feature kicks on it might be causing it to heat up, make sure it's in a well ventilated space.
