if a show runs past the scheduled end time it does not record the excess minutes. does anyone know how to avoid this without manually scheduling everything for x number of minutes past the end?

you would think if you tell it to record to the 'end of the show' it would record until the show is over…….as much technology as we have someone should be able to figure that one out!!!

I'm sure they could use some kind of embedded marker in the video files but it probably would be to costly to implement that technology over just setting it to record additional time. You would be surprised how must it cost big companies to use and develop the simplist of technologies.
