Recorded Shows Won't Play Back

We've had a few instances where shows recorded on the DVR won't play. The screen says there is 1:03 hours recorded but when play, resume play, ff are hit nothing happens. The wierd thing is that it has happened 2 or 3 times for the show "Parenthood" and once for "The Mentalist" but no other shows to my knowledge. Thanks!

I had that problem too. Fortunately, they were all re-runs and not first runs shows. I called in and the tech had me just reset my system by completely turning off the power and starting it all back up again after 30 seconds. Have not had it happen again and that was at least 2 or 3 months ago. Maybe that will help. Hope so! Nothing more frustrating than waiting to see something you love and it is not there.

I have the exact same problem.

I push play and the screen is black and the time bar does not move.

This affected Parenthood one time, and Lie To Me another.

This often affects all shows recorded on the same day.

This is already my 2nd DVR. I do not want to lose all of the recordings on this one.
