Purchased a new Visio HD TV to replace our old standard TV in bedroom.. Went through the set up including HDMI cable, but it couldn't hold the Uverse signal for very long. I tried everything, and finally called the tech the next day. He switched the box with that of another secondary TV in our home, and it works fine now. He says something may be wrong with that particular receiver when attempting to connect with HD TV. Anyone else have a similar experience? It was quite frustrating for a few hours!

I think there were some issues with HDMI on some of the boxes. It's good they got it fixed.

Lost signal on all TVs in our home from evening to next morning. Called AT&T Uverse cust. service…tech managed to reboot the main server for our TV, Phone and Internet….then after I reset all three receivers, TV service came back. Very frustrating! The tech checked things remotely and suggested in may be a problem with the cable which already existed in our home (i.e. shielding or something). Anyone else having such problems? We have had a lot of trouble keeping this TV signal going. I don't want to pay for all new cable in our house to keep this working.
Thanks.

Its really hard to diagnose your problem based on the information you have provided. I would think you'd have to have a tech onsite to look at all of the factors to determine what the real problem is

Yea I agree with SonicDave, you probably need to request AT&T to dispatch a tech to double or even triple check your set up.

I have similar problem, When I turn my tv on in the morning all i get is flashing screen. it is a signal from my dvr reciever but says it cannot get signal. the remote does not respond at all with the box. I have to reboot the box and then all is fine until the box goes to sleep and then must reboot again. I connect with HDMI cable to a sharp aqus led tv. Never had a problem at all with cable so I am convinced the dvr is defective.

Hello,
I have had to reset the receivers at times also. When watching the Grammys in HD, I noticed frequent glitches in the programming (brief signal interruptions). It is irritating to say the least. We have had the techs out here checking all the cables and connections and receivers. I am wondering if it is something on AT&T's end such as bandwidth or server problems when watching or recording HD programming. We didn't have this problem with DISH but we also didn't have HD programming with DISH. Anyone having similar glitches with programming using Uverse?
Thanks.

Sometimes it's the broadcasters signal, so it's nothing AT&T can do about it. HD requires a lot of bandwidth so it might be At&T as well it's hard to determine.

Thanks. I was thinking of having the technician come out one more time to check equipment and cables to rule out any problems here at home. I understand that these brief signal interruptions can happen with regular cable service as well. I just don't think this happened as much with DISH Network for some reason.
