The big reason i chose Uverse was that you could record in one room and replay in any other room. What a crock. It won't even record 90% of the time and when it does, the next day everything has been replaced. I spent almost an hour on the phone with tech support (in their behalf, most of it was waiting for a tech). The service tech came out that evening and said there's a national outage of everything – internet, phone and TV so I can't do anything for you, but now I screwed your box up and you can't even get TV with it. Tried the other box – no dice. Went back to rabbit ears!
This just keeps happening over and over. I think Dish or DirecTV may gain a new customer shortly. I don't have time to miss work so that they can come tell me they have no idea of why it's happening. If it's shoddy equipment – bad hard drive or controller or whatever, not my problem! All the tech support people have been very nice but if they can't fix the problem, it doesn't matter how nice they are. They're not marrying into the family, after all.
