Now and then my DVR stb will change from 1080i back to 4x3. It seems to be related to when the other stb's in the house are being used. The DVR stb is on a 16x9 HDTV and the other 2 boxes are on regular 4x3 tv's.

I don't know what to tell you man, seems like one problem after another. I would just keep calling AT&T and maybe try to escalate up the corporate latter.

I got a new DVR box a couple of weeks ago which seems to have fixed
most of my problems. They also changed the connection type from "auto"
to the actual cable type. I saw another post somewhere where another
user mentioned this as a problem.

Loss of 1080i setting still happens, but only occasionally now. Maybe once in 2-3 weeks.

I canceled my HD, I figured I would order it again during football season and maybe they will support more bandwidth by then.

I'm trying to give them time.

My U-verse system was installed about 6 months ago. I have a total of 7 STBs (all STBs are connected to HD 1080p-HDMi televisions in each room). For several weeks now, I noticed my DVR changes ASPECT RATIO from 1080i high-def back to 4:3 standard def by itself. I set it back to 1080i but a few days later it goes back to 4:3. This is more annoying than anything else.
