Two years plus and I still don't have U-Verse. I'm told you folks are my best shot so here it goes.
I recently received an e-mail from AT&T telling me U-Verse is indeed available to me . This after completing Address Validation Request. (#4353961688) The zip code is not correct on the e-mail nor is it the one I entered when going through this process.
The address , rather then availability seems to be the issue to me based on two years of effort. My street name begins with a direction followed by a spelled out number. Example: East Third Avenue When I enter East Third Avenue it shows up as
E. 3RD AV. There is actually a E. 3RD AV in this city, maybe 1-2 miles from here. I think that is the problem but can't find the person to make it happen.
I have had techs out here who said I was at the end of the run and the signal was weak and needed a booster installed. That was the third week in November of 2010. I was told it would be corrected in January 2011.
Sometime in February I called and told it was indeed good to go but every attempt to schedule it ends up with the "not available to this address" message
Still hearing from some AT&T folks that it's not available to this address. Latest instance was on the chat line tonight.
I then called my neighbor whom lives 75-80 yards west of me on a corner lot and whose address is a different street.
She suggested this forum so here I am…If you can help us PLEASE let me know and I will call, e-mail, or whatever to get this straight or write it off as something I can't control and be done with it.. Thank you.
