As we like to do every month which is to see how U-verse data speeds are holding up.
We have yet to see a significant decrease in the bandwidth that is being provided by AT&T and where very pleased with the results to this point. If you would like to see previous months results go here.
Speed Test:
Provisioned:
3MB/1MB
Tested Using:
SpeakEasy Speed Test
Location:
Dallas/Fortworth
Results:
Down: 2.864 kbps
Up: .949 kbps

And once again U-verse holds strong and I’m still getting almost every cent of the bandwidth I’m paying for! It’s hard to complain … Read original blog post

Really? Are you running XP or Vista? Also, how many PC’s you have? You don’t have anyone running a P2P like limewire sucking down all your bandwidth do you?
You might try tech support to see what they can do to fix it!

I'm provisioned for 10/2 now and I got 9.5/1.5 testing from http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/. I'm happy with that results but sometimes it can be misleading depending on the route and your location.

just remember when you do the speed test on any website or when you are going to any website on the web, it's not allways taking the same path each time you click or download something, your packet may go threw 5 routers one time and 15 the next. Its all set up based on the load of the network and where in the world you are going.

I agree completely, because depending on the route the speedtest uses it could get very inaccurate results. I have seen this in person and used other speedtest sites that gave a completely different result. I have noticed though that speakeasy seems to be one of the more realiable test.
