I plan on having Uverse "triple Play" installed this weekend.

 

There will be 4 STB's and 6 internet connections on the system.

The house is being rewired with all seperate CAT 5e cables back to where the RG will be located with a CAT 5e homerun to outside.

 

Question: Do I use a network switch or router to connect back to the RG?

 

If I understand the system correctly there should be a seperate switch \ router for STB's and a seperate one for internet connections.

 

Any recommended brand to use?
