Well, I’m in the DFW area here in Texas and I can tell you I have it today and without warning. This morning my wife calls me from work telling me one of the STB’s is not working, the main one, the DVR. So instruct her to reset the box and go through the standard trouble shooting steps. It comes back online and everything is normal. After a few hours at work I start thinking about news I have heard about the Whole room DVR being released in certain areas and wonder if it was released in DFW and I just a firmware upgrade. </p> <p>Well folks,</p> <p>When I got home I checked it out and sure enough I can view all my recordings on my DVR from any room in the house. I can even pause in one room and resume in another. It’s lovely! </p> <p>Anyway,</p> <p>Just wanted to give an update and get the discussion forum started. AT&T U-verse is currently the only provider to offer an online feature which allows you to share your online photos through your TV set. </p> <p>This is truly a great addition the AT&T bundled package but I doubt it will be a deal breaker. However, I can’t say I don’t like the idea because I don’t know how many times I have wanted to show pictures on my television but didn’t feel like burning a slide show on DVD. It sounds as if the harddrive is getting ready to sizzle, smoke, and leave me with a melted hope of recovery TV shows that I love to watch. </p> <p> However, nothing has been impacted at all just makes the noise.
