On April 2, 2008 AT&T released it’s latest feature to their IPTV offering Online Photos through Flickr. AT&T U-verse is currently the only provider to offer an online feature which allows you to share your online photos through your TV set.
This is truly a great addition the AT&T bundled package but I doubt it will be a deal breaker. However, I can’t say I don’t like the idea because I don’t know how many times I have wanted to show pictures on my television but didn’t feel like burning a slide show on DVD. Now, I’m able to easily upload my pictures to my Flickr account (which is free) and view them straight from my TV.
Nice Feature!
Keep’em coming!

Well, late the other night I was looking through my On Demand and noticed that now it showed HBO and Cinemax. This was a major surprise because prior this was unavailable in our market. I don’t subscribe to U-400 but U-300 but still could view the two movies packages in the VOD menu, which seemed full of various titles.
I don’t have a lot of details on the new offering but it seems like U-verse is pushing for more On Demand to make the product more marketable.
Let us know if you have subscribe to these packages in other markets like and are able to get these VOD options. As far as where aware of the HBO/Cinemax VOD is only in Texas right now but we may be wrong.

Over the last few months it seems AT&T has decided to upgrade the On Demand Library for those who have paid subscriptions to premium movie channels. So if your U-verse package includes Encore, Showtime, and etc. you’ll have a special On Demand feature that you can play movies that are on this network. These seem to be much better than the “free” On Demand.
The only down I have seen so far is that the library for Showtime only has about 6 movies in it.
I can’t comment for HBO or Cinemax because I’m not subscribed for those channels, if you have any input please comment it below.
